We arrived at school to see the girls in full swing of lessons. We had a tour of the school and learned about their house system and classrooms with the students sitting in.
After a tour of the school we assembled in the hall to present to the group our work so far on the project the Place Where We Live. All the LSA students changed into their uniform ready to present to the group.
The students of Pascal school started the presentations with a traditional dance. Following this the they told us about the history of Cyprus. Each country prepared a presentation about their town and school along with a short video. LSA year girls, Molly Chloe, Sylvie, Hannah and Sammy presented very well and did our school proud wearing this uniform while presenting.
Following this we had lunch at school and made our way to the busses to visit the local archeological site that was once the place of worship of the goddess Aphrodite. The location was a sanctuary for worshipers.

We then tool a short walk along the tourist promenade which was directly next to the beach. We all enjoyed taking photos and feeling the splash from the waves.
The part of our day finished with a visit to the castle of Limassol.
This castle was the defence post of the city. It was built in the Byzantine era and protected the city through the centuries. Inside are many ancient artefacts dating back to the 3rd century.
The higher you climb the better the view equally for the persistent invaders of Cyprus. We then had an hour to get some souvenirs and coffee then back to school to say good night!
