Coordinator' Meeting Bucharest November 5 2015

Today was the first day of our project coordination. In the morning, I met all the other coordinators from our partner countries: Romania, Germany, Poland, Italy  and Cyprus. Only Portugal could not make our meeting but will be present in Cyprus. The group of teachers are really wonderful and we will certainly have a great two year partnership!

We spent time in the two schools one a mainly boys schools that focuses on training them to be football players and the other a primary and middle school ages 6-13.

The students at this school are required to wear a uniform just like at LSA.
They also must stand when a teacher enters the room- not a bad idea!
They still use a very old system of registration, not quite like our SIMS!

We then began our day of meetings and organising our first year of objectives such as our calendar, cookery book and the meeting agenda for Cyprus in two weeks time and Germany next spring.

We had lunch st the school and completed our afternoon of meetings then went to explore a bit of the city.

This evening we will go to a traditional restaurant. Tomorrow we will prepare more for the second year of our project which includes the visit to LSA.
Here is one of the beautiful apartment blocks you can find in the city.
The old town and some funky streets and shops.

On Saturday our Romanian partners will take us in a short excursion to Draculas castle! Very exciting! I will post photos at the weekend. Welcome Erasmus+
